Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, the Gasman, and Angel are normal children plus. The plus is what makes these books so interesting. First of all, they can all fly - they have wings that tuck inside of their shoulder blades and unfurl at a moments notice. These children are 98% human and 2% other. They have been raised in cages and experimented on. Now they are free and they are determined to find their parents. Alas, the erasers are chasing them and they are determined too - determined to "rub them out."
While reading these books, my shoulders began to itch - I could feel the feathers growing. I hope you like this series as much as I did. Happy landings!
