Frannie In Pieces

By Delia Ephron 444

Frannie’s parents are divorced. She goes back and forth between her Dad and her Mom’s houses. One day Frannie goes to her Dad’s house. She waits in the living room for a couple minuets until she needs to use the bathroom. When she walks into the bathroom her dad is laying on the ground. Dead. Her Dad leaves all of his possessions to Frannie. When she goes back to his house to pack up she finds what she thinks he was going to give her for her birthday. She goes home and opens it. It is a puzzle. It’s a puzzle her Dad made for her. Soon Frannie becomes obsessed with it. She works on it every night. Then one night she falls into the puzzle. I liked this book because Frannie is very real. She is not perfect. I also liked because it is partly fantasy and fantasy is one of my favorite genres. I hope you like it too!
