Swindled is a book about a boy named Fitz Morgan who is going on a train to San Francisco, California to visit his Aunt. Everything on the train is going well for Fitz. He even makes a friend named "Judge" Judith from the famous Pinkerton family. The Pinkerton family is a family of detectives. It is in Judges blood to be a detective. Fitz spends time with her in her personal car of the train. Judge has a body guard and let’s just say he and Fitz start off on the wrong foot. Then there is a murder on the train that involves counterfeiters and a death that revisits Judge from her past. People turn out to be what they are not. Judge finds out one of Fitz darkest secrets, and does not know if Fitz himself is the murderer. Now it's every man and woman for themselves. Can Fitz and Judge find the murderer in time?
